I am 21 years old and single. I don't have any kids but I did find my dad after 20 years. He has been in 4 wars and served 2 terms. He was in the military when I was born. He has 4 daughters of which I am the oldest.

My name is Krystal Nicole Thorson. Ever since I was a little girl I wondered who my father was. I didn't know much about him but his name and I wanted to know why he didn't want me.

I began looking for him when I was old enough to work a computer. I started out looking for his name when I realized that it's the 21st century and everyone nowadays uses Facebook.

I began searching for a Rob Nitz. I looked for a while and when I was 19 I found him or better yet his wife.

I requested this lady as a friend. She sent me a message asking me about my mom and my uncle. I replied back asking about the only piece of my family from his side being my aunt Jaime.

We both instantly knew that we had found each other. She showed him my picture and he began to cry. He knew that his little girl finally found him.

I have corresponded with him and I have heard different stories of who didn't want who and basically my parents weren't in love and they went their own ways.

My stepmom and I planned a surprise meeting with my father on my 20th birthday. It was unforgettable. I held him and we both cried for the longest time and he sent me pictures and told me his war stories.

I didn’t want it to end.

I had a kind of hard time when I was growing up and that was because I was abused and unhappy.

My father was hurt in the Army so his knee doesn’t work right. He has a hard time standing. I called him and he told me that he is about to lose his house because he is disable.

I don’t know the whole story but I'm worried because I just found him and he's losing everything.

He cannot walk very well because his knee was injured while in the service. He also has migraine headaches and neck aches which he is going to the doctor almost every week because of the pain. I believe he may have a tumor creating the pressure on his neck creating the migraine. His migraines are so severe that he cannot sleep in the light or the noise.

My father has no way to get a job because he is disabled and he is loosing his trailer. He has spent what little money he gets on bills and medications but it isn't enough.

I am working at home making key chains to earn money to send him. But I have a part time job and I live paycheck to paycheck. I believe my father is waiting for SSDI but is unable because he lives in Arizona and the president has put it on hold for some reason.

My father needs money that is given to him so he can pay his bills and keep his trailer. He has served our country and it saddens me that we can't help our veterans. I would like to get him benefits, or a grant.

I have a good solid job and I am saving for a truck so I can go and see my father. When I call to speak with him, he’s always lying down in the bedroom in the dark and he needs it totally silent because he has a migraine headache which is really severe.

I would really appreciate it if you could help me help him out. If I could give him money it would in a heartbeat.

But I live paycheck to paycheck and I feel horrible that I can't help him.

Please and thank you to all who have fought and are fighting for our freedom. God Bless.
