Deteriorating Disc Disease Disabled Man Seeks Help To Be Breadwinner Again

(Poplar Bluff, Missouri, USA)
My name is Shane Ivy and I am 39 years old. I have been married for 16 years to my wife Lori.
We have three children, Joshua 22, Santana 20 and Shane Jr. 13. We have lived in Poplar Bluff Missouri now for over 15 years.
When I was 32 years old, I was diagnosed with deteriorating disc disease in my spine.
Doctors told me that if it kept progressing at the same rate, I would probably be in a wheelchair in my forties.
I was approved for full disability in 2005.
I cannot stand or sit for more than 15 minutes at a time. It has progressed into my joints and nerves of my legs.
I have to use a cane to walk now and sometimes my legs give out on me. I have fallen often due to this condition.
I have depression and don't feel like a man anymore because I cannot provide for my family the way I want to.
I have to rely on my wife for everything. We only have one car so it's hard to schedule appointments around her work schedule.
I can't do family things with my children such as playing ball etc. due to the disease.
I can't get a job because when they find out about the spinal disease they look at me as a liability and refuse to hire me.
I do get disability but it's not enough to pay many bills or provide for my family.
I am looking for government grants that do not have to be paid back for disabled people to buy some land and a doublewide home for my family to settle down in and call home.
We rent right now and we feel we are throwing money out the window.
Our dream is to own our own home and property to one day hand down to our children.
My plans have been crushed due to my spinal disease. This is my only hope to make me feel like a man again and fulfill our dream.
