Grant Money For New Life For Disabled Survivor Of Cancer Stricken Family

I developed basal cell carcinoma of the nose in 2002 and had 90% of the nose removed due to the cancer and lost part of my upper lip and all my teeth.
Then in 2005 when my mom got sick and developed sepsis from a bladder infection and could not be cured, I had to pull the plug on her and let her die.
Everything was very tight and tough to make all the bills without her money.
Then in 2009 my brother developed esophageal cancer, which spread to his bones, shoulder and back. He went for radiation, which did not help. He was in the hospital from November 22, 2009 until December 3, 2009.
Around the same time my father was put in the hospital on November 29, 2009 with the impression he had a stroke only to find out he had lung cancer, which metastasized to his brain.
My brother came home December 3, 2009 and died December 7, 2009.
My father came home December 10th and went for 10 radiation treatments, which did not help. He passed away March 14 2010.
Now I'm left with a mortgage payment I cannot afford and utilities I cannot afford and with the market being down I cannot sell my house as I owe more than it is worth right now I cannot even do a short sale.
I know I have to leave my house that I have had for 31 years but to walk away with nothing really hurts financially and emotionally.
With a government grant I could really start my life over. I'm on disability and cannot work as I also have endometriosis and need a knee replacement and cannot walk long distance or stand very long.
I really could use a grant to get my life back as all I have ever done is take care of everyone in my family, but now they are all gone and I need to start a life of my own.
I really need something good to come out of all of this. I feel like I have been through the wringer and do not know how I'm going to get through this without a grant.
Thank you for letting me tell my story. God bless! Lori Cross.
