19 Year Old Single Disabled Female Seeks Disability Grants Or Benefits

I smile to let myself know that God made me different for a reason.

I smile to let myself know that God made me different for a reason.

I'm a 19-year-old single female. I have no kids. I have an older sister and a younger sister.

I was born with a birth defect that the doctors don't know how it happened or the name of it.

This defect caused me to be born with one arm shorter than the other. I have 3 fingers on each hand.

Having this disability caused me to develop scoliosis of the spine. I've lived with this disability since day one, and trust me it's not easy to live with.

I can say I'm thankful for my sisters with whom I now reside.

I have difficulties with pretty much everything: bathing, getting dressed, feeding myself, brushing my hair, typical normal things.

With these difficulties I'm unable to work. I'm unable to walk far distances or sit for long periods of time. I'm unable to operate a vehicle.

I do receive SSI every month. But that's not enough to make a living. I've applied for jobs but due to my difficulties, I haven't been able to get one.

I'm looking to receive grants to help me financially, to help make my life easier to go about. Even benefits would help.
