29 Year Old Accident Disabled Man Seeks Grant Money To Provide For Family

July 30, 2009, it was my weekend to work the night shift at a local plant. That's when I was left unable to provide for my family.
I was driving my motorcycle to work when a lady at a stop sign made a left hand turn in front of me.
The crash shattered my heel, degloved the bottom of my right foot, broke my tibia, fibula, and a rib, and left me with a terrible road rash.
It wasn't so bad, but I was taken off work for a year. Now it's going to be longer because of an infection has set into the bone of my leg.
I just had my third surgery and one more is certain. Cobra Insurance is $193 a month.
My wife is in school and me too now. She works two jobs, and helps me get around. I need help for my wife because the stress is killing her.
I'm sure I'm depressed mentally but insurance doesn't pay but 20%. Hopefully the infection will clear up.
I take antibiotics intravenously every eight hours. Six months from now I will have the rod removed for good.
It was the woman's fault. She admitted it, and I had three or four people that saw it.
I lost $1,400 on the bike, which I still owe, along with the hospital bills. The first surgery cost $56,000.
But somehow God or karma will get back to me one day. I hope and pray for grant money or equivalent help to turn my life around.
