Added Disability Benefits To Help Accident Disabled Man With Daily Needs

I am a 57-year-old married man living with my wife. We have no children, except the furry kind (cats).
I have been in the military. That was over 20 years ago.
My wife Terri and I live in her mother's house. Her mother is in a nursing home. I am currently unemployed and so is my wife.
I already have a degree in Business Administration and Management with a Micro Computer Emphasis.
I also have a Certificate of Proficiency in Graphic Arts. Both are from the same college.
I suffered a "slip and fall" injury while working for my last employer. This resulted in a load of complications.
The main ones are osteoarthritis of both knees with bone on bone contact. This itself has trapped me in a wheelchair. I am no longer ambulatory.
When awake, I'm stuck in the wheelchair for mobility issues. I am also diabetic, and have heart problems too. In January of 2012 I very nearly died.
I cannot work in any capacity, even though I have made many attempts at finding employment. All have failed miserably.
I have no income outside the mere pittance I do get from SSDI payment of $732 a month.
I also believe that my mobility Issues and my age are barriers to finding meaningful gainful employment.
I have had necessary services phone, water, gas, power all shut off cause I could not pay the bills for these things.
I am about to lose the house where I am living because I cannot pay the property taxes on the property, and the house payment Is in arrears too.
In fact since we can't have children we don't "qualify" for our state's welfare program at all.
I am using a wheelchair that's too small cause mine broke and I could not afford to buy another. The chair I'm using is my mother-in-law's chair.
I have attempted to do all kinds of moneymaking stuff, only to have it blow up in my face.
I fell for a work-at-home scam and almost got arrested (the fake money order one).
I have no family to speak of, as they are all now dead and buried.
My wife's side helps when they can which isn't often.
I need additional benefits.
I am looking for grants for every day living expenses. This is so I no longer have to worry about not having water, gas, power, phone, Internet.
I am also seeking SSI as well due to my low-income status.
