Degenerative Joint And Pain Disabled Cindy Seeks Dental Care Grants
I'm a 58-year-old female from Baltimore Maryland, where I've lived all my life.

I live in a one-bedroom apartment. I have two sons and three grandkids. I also have a cat.

Disability Issues

I've been diagnosed with severe degenerative joint disease, for which I get injections and also take prescription meds.

I'm also a diabetic with high blood pressure and chronic pain, including pain in my gums.

Financial Hardship

I get $878 a month in SSDI as well as $127 a month in Food Stamps.

This is what my bills are each month:

1. Rent $186
2. Gas Electric $136
3. Cable $155
4. Insurance $42
5. Lifelock $7
6. Netflix $8
7. Fire Insurance $9.56
8. Insurance $11.21
9. Phone $25
10. Bus Pass $21.78

Total Left $289

What's left is for washing clothes, buying household needs, paying for medications, and buying food.

Income Efforts

In 2009, I went to the Community College for my CNA Licence. The class required one year of Educational Services. I passed this class and I received my Nursing Assistant Licence.

When I finished the class I was hired as a Nursing Assistant and I worked until I received my Disability.

Specific Needs

I am seeking financial help to get my teeth pulled and get some dentures.

The Workbook is key
by: Don from Ability Mission

Hey Cindy,

You do not have to do everything that is in the Workbook. You just have to pick one or two that look like your best prospects. The exercise that you did by writing your story and getting it published helped you learn skills that you can apply almost directly when you apply for a grant.

You are looking for dental help. You can get tons of resources, even specific to where you live, from Matthew Lesko. Follow this Dental Care link: https://www.ability-mission.org/mldental.

There is a slight cost ($9.95), which is normal for outside suppliers that we recommend.

Cheers!

Where to start with the workbook
by: Cynthia Kenner

I've written my story and I've read the workbook. I don't understand what has to be done next. I'd like to know why you have to go through all this to receive a grant to help people with a disability.

Start with what will work for you
by: Don from Ability Mission

Hello Cindy,

The best thing you can do is thoroughly study the Workbook (not just read it) and then choose just one thing you believe you can do to improve your situation.

Cheers!

A prayer
by: John and Lavilla

Hello Cindy,

I do understand your issues. All of us Americans are struggling one way or another. I'll pray for you, for what you need. And I hope in time you will get what you need. Life sometimes throws us curves, but all we can do is ask and pray for some help. I'm still doing my best on me and my wife to save are home. But we will see. You take care and we will pray for you and your family.

Sincerely,
John and Lavilla

The Workbook is next...
by: Don from Ability Mission

Hello Cindy,

Congrats on getting your story published! In doing so, you've acquired valuable hands-on experience in responding to precise instructions, the very kind that you will encounter when applying for help of any kind.

You've now earned the right to access the Workbook, which shows you how to use your story as a springboard to getting the help you need.

Cheers!
