Disabled Legal Secretary Seeks Grant Money For Reliable Car

I'd like to thank my Social Worker for telling me about this resource.
Last month, my car died. The mechanic's diagnosis is that I need to either have the engine rebuilt or replaced (for $4,700).
Now it's the dead of summer, and I'm missing my doctors' appointments.
When I was able to work, I always donated to various charities; but now I find myself to be the one on the receiving end.
One of my friends suggested asking people if they know of anyone who is going into a Nursing Home. Apparently they have cars that they need to dispose of, and usually, they are well kept and trustworthy.
My Pastor advised me to reach out in Faith and simply make my need known to the Universe, and God would see to it that it reached the right person who understands what it means to "Pay It Forward."
So here goes… God, are you listening? Remember all of the times when I was asked at the Supermarket if I'd like to donate to this charity or that fund drive, and I gave what I could -- if only $1.00 at a time???
Lord, please bless some special someone to read my Prayer and recognize my story as part of his or her own.
I may not know the how, or the when, or the who; but I do know that you're already working to turn this situation for my good.
If Santa asked me what I wanted for Christmas, I would say, "I'd love a Toyota Prius, because it gets great gas mileage."
There was a Gospel songwriter who wrote, "When it's out of your hands, it's not out of his." Please help me get back on my feet. Thank you from the very bottom of my Heart.
