Housing Grant Money To Help Vietnam Veteran Disabled By Agent Orange

by Wayne Evensen
(Bunnell, Florida, USA)

I am a 100% permanently disabled Vietnam veteran. I am having my 25th operation from Agent Orange.

I have three children: 30, 26 and 22 years old.

I live in a 25-year-old manufactured home. I have a 14-year-old car.

Disability Issues

I have Agent Orange diabetes and I take six shots a day. My next surgery from cancer residuals is may 3rd in Malcolm Randal VA hospital Gainesville.

I am totally incontinent and have neuropathy in hands and feet.

I can't get a VA mortgage even with good credit. I've tried.

All my medical records are at the Daytona VA Outpatient and the Gainesville VA hospital.

Financial Hardship

I'm unable to work. I owe on a few credit cards but have lived within my means, not running up credit. My scores are 700, 729, 749.

I owe about $83,000 on my 1st and 2nd mortgages, but I've never been late on payments.

I have to pay my wife's medical. I can't get life insurance.

My wife watches four grandchildren every day.

I have tithed to my church on every penny that has come into our home.

Income Efforts

I'm getting Disability. I am 61. At 62 I get my retirement from Halifax Hospital at $253 a month. My SSD is $1100.

It's just not enough. I want to be free, take my wife on vacation and help my three children.

I have no parents to borrow money from. I know there is money out there. Every day, I hear about trillions given everywhere except here in the USA.

Specific Needs

I need a grant to fix my house to make it easier to come and go.

I'm looking for a saint, bank, person, actor, actress, whatever, offering a low interest loan. If I could find just one kind person to help that would be great.

I need help. I know there are people out there who want to help. I just haven't found them yet.

I want to be in place to help others with more than just prayer.
